Full Circle with Mr. Bone-jangles and Joshua Brown

It was a full-circle moment for Mr. Bone-jangles and Joshua Brown.

In celebration of Annalee’s 90th Anniversary, we hosted the Crafting Dreams Build-a-Doll Workshop on September 15, 2024. Collectors from across the country gathered to design their own one-of-a-kind Annalee doll. It was a chance to bring their imagination to life with the help of our talented design elves.

Each unique creation was displayed for the entire Annalee community, who then voted to decide which design would become a future Annalee exclusive. The winning design came from Joshua Brown of Belmont, NH.  His one-of-a-kind scarecrow captured hearts with its creative charm and Halloween spirit.

Thanks to your votes, Joshua’s design was brought to life by our Annalee elves as a 100-only exclusive collectible. We even asked him to name the design. It is now known as Mr. Bone-jangles, which we think is simply prefect. This fun and festive fall figure made his debut on October 9, 2025. He was dressed to impress in bone-patterned pants, a skull-print shirt, and a dash of spooky charm.

To celebrate the release, we invited Joshua to return to Annalee Headquarters for a truly full-circle moment—helping create the very first Mr. Bone-jangles (#1 of 100!) alongside designer elf Dolores. He even got to witness the excitement as the design went live on our website and sold out in just five minutes. Yes, five minutes!
