This year’s Build-an-Elf Workshop was everything we hoped for and more! Guests traveled from 11 states including Florida, Tennessee, California, and even Alaska to join us at our headquarters in Meredith, NH. And oh ho-ho-ho, did they bring the Christmas cheer with them.
Inside the workshop, creativity was in full swing. More than 60 unique elves were brought to life. Everything from classic holiday characters to one playful elf dressed up for a game of bingo. Each design was as special as the person who made it, and the joy of seeing them all together was pure Annalee magic.

This event wasn’t just about creating festive friends. For many it was a chance to turn online friendships into real-life memories. Collectors who had only “met” through Facebook finally shared laughs and stories in person, swapping tales of how they first fell in love with Annalee dolls. Some traced their collecting roots back to grandparents who passed down the tradition—a true reminder of the generations touched by Annalee’s whimsical creations.
And, of course, what’s an Annalee event without plenty of smiles? The way the smiles streamed out of the building that day made us think, “Annalee would have been so proud.”
The day was packed with so many special moments. The Harrison Family from Florida, winners of our Summer Photo Contest, stopped by after a morning at Santa’s Village, arriving in full holiday spirit dressed as Santa and elves. A merry crew of holiday regulars sweetened the day with goodies from the Gingerbread Construction Company, while Mother Earth auction winner Debbie Kuick and her daughter traveled all the way from Wisconsin to join the fun. And, of course, no Annalee event would be complete without treats! More than six dozen Cider Bellies doughnuts disappeared in record time. 🍩😋
From new faces to familiar friends, the Build-an-Elf Workshop was a true celebration of creativity, community, and Christmas joy. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your spirit made this day unforgettable. We’re already counting down to next year’s event.
