Spring fever officially bloomed at Annalee Gift Shop this season during our joyful and smile-filled Build-a-Bunny Event in Meredith, New Hampshire! And what a hoppin’ celebration it was.

Collectors, families, and bunny lovers traveled from nine different states to experience the magic of creating their very own one-of-a-kind Annalee bunny alongside one of our talented Annalee “elves” (aka designers). From the moment guests walked through the doors, the workshop buzzed with creativity, laughter, and that unmistakable Annalee spirit.

Each bunny creation was as unique as the person behind it. Some guests carefully selected spring florals, pastel ribbons, denim accents, and cheerful accessories to bring their vision to life. Others simply followed their imagination wherever it hopped. One especially sweet family of four from Vermont worked together designing a bunny for their mother and grandmother, complete with denim shirts and bright daffodils on the base. Watching the whole family collaborate made the day even more heartwarming.

One of our designers shared how wonderful it was meeting guests from all over: “Overall, it was a spectacular day, so very enjoyable. It’s just so heartwarming seeing all the creativity and joy everyone is experiencing. While it’s always a pleasure welcoming returning guests, it was so thrilling to see all the new faces. Their faces light up the minute they come through the door. Almost everyone says the same thing, ‘I’m so excited to finally be here at Annalee.'”

And that happy feeling echoed throughout the workshop all day long.

Young attendees added even more charm to the event. Little Autumn, who attended with her mother and grandmother, completely stole hearts with her sweet personality and excitement for the workshop. Another mother and daughter traveled from Rhode Island to join the fun together, continuing a growing Annalee tradition after attending previous events.

Of course, no Annalee celebration would be complete without laughter. One family from Massachusetts kept everyone smiling as the father joked with his daughter about how enthusiastically she built her bunny. By the end of the workshop, the entire family was completely swept up in the fun, especially the mom, who was absolutely thrilled with her bunny creation.

And then came a very special visitor…

The Easter Bunny hopped into the celebration, delighting guests of all ages and spreading even more springtime cheer throughout the shop. Between bunny building, photo opportunities, delicious snacks, and exciting door prizes, the day became a full-blown Annalee love fest. Smiles filled every corner of the workshop, and spring fever reached its absolute peak.

 

What makes events like Build-a-Bunny so special isn’t just the dolls themselves. It’s the memories created together. Friends meeting for the first time. Families sharing traditions across generations. Collectors discovering new creative passions. Every bunny carried a little piece of the person who made it, and every smile helped make the day unforgettable.
