The 18 inch mouse wears a dashing double-breasted blue felt coat with gold colored buttons and fancy gold ribbon details on his epaulets and cuffs. The sea captain is wearing a traditional style peaked cap made of white and black felt with gold ribbon detail and an embroidered anchor on the front. He’s ready to set sail, holding a rolled map printed on parchment paper, along with a handmade compass.
This prototype was made at Annalee headquarters in Meredith, NH. It comes with a special hang tag and is numbered zero to indicate that it is a designer prototype.
A limited edition of 100 pieces was made for the release of this design in July 2021.
